of the Bouchet valley, close to the famous family resort of Grand Bornand. Beautiful
hikes into the magnificent Aravis mountains, as well as expeditions to the summit
of the Pointe Percée (2758m, 9050 ft) and other peaks are immediately accessible
from the chalet. You will just love the peaceful setting and the splendid view
of the surrounding forest and mountains. |

At a mere 3 miles distance of Grand Bornand center (12 min. by
car, 35 min by bike), the chalet offers accommodation in the middle of nature,
while permitting rapid access to the tourist installations of the resort, such
as the aqua-recreational center, skating ring, movie theater and the other cultural
attractions and events organized each summer.
The shuttle bus to the village center stops close to the chalet and operates frequently
permitting you to spend a car-less vacation, or to cycle.
In immediate vicinity of the chalet, accessible on foot, are 3 restaurants (two
of which offer typical savoyard cuisine). Tennis courts are only a few steps away
and the Grand Bornand Golf course is very close. |
General information on the chalet "Capucines" in Grand Bornand
Independent 4 room apartment + mezzanine, totaling 102m2 and accommodating
6 to 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Interior decoration is classy and stylish, while
remaining cozy and comfortable. Large fireplace. The large balconies/terraces
are oriented south and east. Magnificent view toward the Aravis mountain range
and the alpine meadows and pastures.
Le chalet offers private parking for 2 cars. The property includes a 1000m2
fenced lawn garden, with barbecue, outdoor furniture and parasol for sunbathing
from 10 a.m. to 5/6 p.m., depending on the time of year. Pets are very welcome,
and a large basket is provided for their comfort. |

The kitchen
The apartment offers a fully equipped, integrated kitchen with all necessary items
for 8 adult guests. For families with small children special utensils such as
a mixer and a potato masher are available.
For the preparation of the typical savoyard dishes the apartment is equipped with
fondue sets (cheese and meat fondue).

The sanitaries
Very luminous bathroom with a shower cabin, a large mirrored closet and plenty
of storage facilities. The toilets are separated from the bathroom.
Bedsheets and towels can be rented in advance, allowing you to enter a fully prepared
apartment upon your arrival. |

A reservation deposit of 30% of the total stay will be required
